Really Useful Information, Inc. assembles a team of leading entertainment, technology, and marketing executives, and premier RUI faculty.  Each executive education program is designed to combine current industry intelligence, leading management and leadership theory, and current best practices that professionals can implement — immediately — to take command of a changing entertainment and technology industry. A Webinar is a short — usually 20–30-minute — online presentation to introduce you to a specific concept or topic, led by a subject matter expert or RUI faculty member. These are free to view and share with your colleagues. What does my computer need for online courses or Webinars? To participate in online courses or Webinars, you need a computer running Windows 98 or later or MacOS 10.3 or later, and a modern Web browser like Internet Explorer 6.0 or later, Apple Safari, or Mozilla Firefox. You also need Windows Media Player 6.4 or later (for Windows) or Flip4Mac WMV (for MacOS). To view and print slides and course notes, you’ll need a way to work with PDF files. Contact us for more information. Are RUI executive education courses eligible for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit? Yes! A number of RUI courses do qualify for CPE credit. More information about each specific course is available in the course listing. The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) determines which executive education programs are eligible for CPE credits, and for which subject areas. To learn more about CPE credits and NASBA’s important policies, please visit www.nasba.org. Are discounts available? Many professional associations and employers offer discounted fees for participation in RUI /USC Marshall executive education courses. If you believe you qualify for a discount, ask your organization for more information. They will provide you with a discount code to enter during the online registration process. How can I access recorded course sessions to play them again? When you register for a course, you’ll receive an e-mail that contains instructions and a link for logging into the course. You can log in to view sessions and download course materials as many times as you’d like over the duration of the course. Where do I get my certificate of completion after completing a course? At the end of your course, RUI will mail you documentation, including a certificate of completion.. or a “New Media Management” Certificate if you complete all three of our open enrollment programs. Can I get a tuition discount for signing up others? Online courses include an easy link to submit questions and feedback to course instructors, and participate in discussions with fellow classmates. In addition, you’ll have access to RUI’s online community, where experts and professionals share stories, insight, and advice. Are there resources for job hunters? Yes!
